I have frequented Dapur Sunda a lot in the past when I was still very chilli-tolerant. My order will consist of ikan gurame cobek, sambal mangga, sambal tempe, sambal mentah, kangkung, ..., which will leave me sweating profusely. But I guess years abroad makes me lose my chilli-tolerance. The flavor here is authentic and the quality of ingredients used is the best! Not much oil is used in the cooking, unlike other traditional Indonesian food. It is no wonder the French and Japanese frequented this health-conscious joint. While the Indonesian staffs are generally very service-oriented, polite and helpful, the staffs here bring service to another level- one that is usually found only in 5-star hotels
